TFA Junior League Spring 2012 Session Information

Session starts Monday March 26, 2012 and runs through Wednesday May 30, 2012

About

Registration (online)

  • Click on "Registration and Member Login" from the Home page of our website
    • Create an account
      • Add players to your account
        • Register for Junior League season and age group
          • Make payment
  • TFA Junior League Registration is now open and continues through March 2nd closing at midnight

Practices

  • Monday’s & Wednesday’s 6:30pm - 7:30pm  (Kickstart is Monday’s only)
  • TFA South Soccer Complex (7849 Harrison Avenue, Cleves, OH, 45002)

Cost

$42 Kickstart   age 4          Monday Only

$52 Micro        age 5-6       Monday & Wednesday

We no longer have a Juniors program for 7-8 year olds. It is recommended that the 7-8 year olds participate in our TFA SAY Program.

What to Bring

   Players

  • Shin Guards and socks to cover shin guards
  • Size 3 or 4 ball (size 4 is fine even for kickstart)
  • Water bottle
  • Athletic shoes (you do not have to have soccer shoes)
  • Bug Spray

   Parents

  • Encouragement and positive attitude
  • Camera
  • Chair
  • Bug Spray

Communication

  • All communication for TFA Junior League (JRL) is communicated via TFA website or email
  • Please feel free to contact me with questions, suggestions for improving JRL

Lightning Policy

  • If lightning is seen we end practice.  Not up for discussion
  • Gather belongings and leave fields as quickly as possible

Rainout

If JRL is canceled then KICKSTART, MICRO are all canceled

  • Always check the Website to see if the fields are open
    • Field status can be found on the bottom middle of our Home page
    • Updated by 4:00pm each day

Teams & Coaches

  • We always need coaches
    • Reliable
    • Enthusiastic
    • Positive
    • Soccer experience preferred but not required
    • You will enjoy the experience
  • Teams to be put together after registration closes
  • Usually last minute since we have numerous last minute registrations
  • Please register early
  • Car pooling for any team/player should not be a problem since we are all at the same field location

Directions to Fields & Parking

  • TFA South Soccer Complex

    • 7849 Harrison Avenue, Cleves, OH, 45002
    • Directions: I-275 West to I-74 West to St. Rt. 128 Miamitown exit.  Go North on St. Rt. 128 to Harrison Ave.  Turn right onto Harrison Ave. and go ¼ mile and the fields will be on the right.

  • Parking

o   Please park on the gravel only

o   Please do not park on the grass

Medical Release Form

 

Coaches:   Ohio KidSafe/Risk Management Application

  • Coaches must complete the following online form
  • Once you press submit,  print the letter that states you applied, not the actual form and bring to practice

JRL Shirts

  • All Players and coaches will receive JRL shirts

Games (Micro)

  • Games for Micro will be every Wednesday
  • First game April 4th
  • Last game Wednesday May 23rd
  • Games are the last 40 minutes of the Wednesday practice
  • Micro play 3v3 no goalie, roughly 60ft by 40ft field, with goal that is 6ft in length and 4ft in height

Awards Night

  • Wednesday, May 30th
  • Pizza Party and drinks
  • Participation award for each player

  • We are always looking for sponsors to keep cost low for our participants
